Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Web Development (75%):

  • Website Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve website speed, performance, and accessibility. Implement caching, image compression, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress sites, ensuring smooth functionality, security, and the latest updates.
  • E-Commerce: Develop and optimize WooCommerce websites, ensuring a seamless shopping experience and optimized product pages.

Digital Marketing & SEO (25%):

  • SEO Strategy & Execution: Implement SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility. Perform keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO audits.
  • Content Creation & Optimization: Develop SEO-friendly blog content, website copy, and landing pages that drive traffic and engagement. Collaborate with content writers to ensure alignment with SEO best practices.
  • Local Search Optimization: Optimize Google My Business and other local search listings for increased visibility in target regions.
  • Campaign Analytics & Reporting: Track website performance using Google Analytics and SEO tools like SEMrush and Yoast SEO. Provide regular reports and data-driven insights to improve strategy.
  • Social Media & LinkedIn: Optimize LinkedIn profiles and create campaigns to improve online visibility and client engagement.

Sales & Client Engagement:

  • Inbound Sales Support: Engage with inbound leads, set appointments, and help leadership close deals by showcasing our web development and digital marketing capabilities.
  • Sales Collaboration: Occasionally participate in outbound sales activities to generate new business opportunities. Provide insights into how web development and SEO can benefit potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio showcasing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient with WordPress development (themes, plugins) and HTML is a must. Option/Good to have: CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, RankMath SEO, and SEMrush.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring smooth financial operations. This role will initially be approximately 10 hours per month but will increase hours to 10-20 hours per week with the opening of a physical office in Tempe, AZ or Bismarck, ND.

  • Record all incoming and outgoing transactions and categorize them appropriately.

Payroll Management:

  • Process payroll using Gusto, ensuring employees are paid on time and deductions are accurately made.
  • Manage employee benefits and other payroll-related issues.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist with year-end financial close and tax preparation.
